Welcome to MoDOT's NEW ride-matching site.
The Missouri Department of Transportation is dedicated to providing transportation
options. Environmental concerns, fuel conservation and financial considerations
have led many Missourians to seek alternative transportation avenues. Carpooling
is one way MoDOT is helping them address these issues. To make it easy for travelers
to connect with existing carpools or to start new ones, MoDOT is working with iCarpool
to provide a database for people heading the same direction. Simply register and
follow the simple steps to get started.

Whether you carpool, vanpool, walk, bike, take transit or telecommute – you are
saving money, saving travel costs for the company and you are also reducing emissions
of greenhouse gases. Use the multi modal trip calendar in the iCarpool application
to track the benefits of your achievements. Logging trips in the iCarpool system
is easy! Click on “My Calendar” tab in the iCarpool application and then
the link “Log Miles with Multi-Modal Trip Calendar”. Enter your trips.

- Logging trips is a great way to track your own emission savings and monetary savings
you achieve through carpool, vanpool, walk, bike, transit or telecommute.
- By logging trips, you can also help MoDOT track monetary savings, travel cost savings
and emission savings achieved within the region through the iCarpool program.
