Welcome to Votran's NEW ride-matching site.
Votran has offered commuters various alternatives to driving alone for years - the
I-4 Express Bus service, the van pool program and the ride-matching service, just
to name a few. The goal is to help reduce traffic congestion while helping commuters
to reduce commuting costs and stress. Replacing single-occupancy vehicle trips with
one or more of these transportation methods can help reduce congestion, reduce demand
for parking, and improve air and water quality. Ride-matching is designed to match
commuters with similar commuting time and destination needs.
Hosted by iCarpool, rideshare matching software, commuters can connect with others
interested in sharing a ride for a one-time trip and/or recurring trips. Save time
and energy by finding a ride share match.

Ride-matching and commute calendar
-
Want to carpool? – Sign up now to begin the ride-matching process. Once
you establish a carpool in this ride-matching system, your carpool trips will automatically
be logged in the Commute Calendar. The Commute Calendar is a special feature which
not only allows you to see how much money you save, but also tracks the pollutants
and other emmissions you save the environment from by not driving alone.
-
Transit riders, bicyclists and walkers – You can see your contribution to
pollution avoidance. Simply sign up now and use the Commute Calendar on this
site to log the trips for which you used mass transit, bicycled or walked. Your
savings achievement totals can be viewed under the "My Profile" tab once you sign
up and begin logging trips.
-
Want to vanpool? - Have too many riders for a carpool? Think about starting
your own vanpool. Votran will supply an eight-passenger van for groups of four or
more for a low monthly fee. Vanpool participants share in the cost of the van and
fuel expenses. Each rider’s expense can be as low as $4 per round trip. Commuters
can sign
